Loupe Terms of Service
Effective date: 26 September 2026 · Applies to: Loupe for iPhone (com.loupe-ai.ios) and Loupe Station for Mac (com.loupe-ai.desktop)
These terms are an agreement between you and Hany Sadek, trading as Loupe ("we"), of Hurghada, Egypt. If Loupe later moves to a company, that company will take over these terms and we will tell you. By installing or using Loupe you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.
1. Licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Loupe on devices you own or control, for your own purposes, under these terms. For Loupe for iPhone, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its support; Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms. Open-source components and the Loupe Decision Model are licensed under their own licences, listed in the app (Me → Licences).
2. Beta and test status
Loupe is in development and may be offered as a beta (including through TestFlight). Features may change, break or be removed, and data on your device may need to be reset. Keep your own copies of anything important.
3. Decisions are suggestions
Loupe's decisions, rankings, warnings and drafts are produced by a model and rules that can be wrong. A missing warning does not mean something is safe; Loupe never says a site or email is safe. You decide what to do, and you are responsible for your actions. Loupe is not financial, legal, medical, travel or security advice.
4. No booking or payment
Loupe never books, buys or pays for anything, and never fills in passwords, codes or card details. Prices, schedules, rates and weather come from third parties and may be out of date; check with the provider before relying on them.
5. Your accounts, keys and third-party services
Some features use services you connect yourself: Google, Microsoft, your mail provider, Composio, AI providers, Google Safe Browsing, Duffel and others. You are responsible for your accounts and API keys, for any fees charged by those providers, and for following their terms. Keys you add stay on your device. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for them, their availability or their charges.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Loupe to: access accounts, mailboxes or data you are not authorised to access; break the law or others' rights; abuse, overload, scrape or attempt to bypass limits on the Loupe web helper; reverse engineer the apps except where the law allows; or use it to build a competing service from the helper. We may block helper access that breaks these rules.
7. Online features
Online features are optional and may be limited, changed or discontinued at any time, and may be unavailable. Loupe keeps working offline without them.
8. No warranty
To the fullest extent the law allows, Loupe is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, or for losses caused by relying on Loupe's decisions or third-party data. Our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Loupe in the 12 months before the claim or [AMOUNT, e.g. USD 50]. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud), or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Termination
You can stop using Loupe at any time by deleting it. We may end or suspend these terms or your access to online features if you break them. Sections 3, 8, 9 and 11 survive.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and disputes go to the courts of Hurghada, Red Sea Governorate, Egypt, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring claims at home.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using Loupe after that, the new terms apply.
13. Language
An Arabic translation is provided for convenience. If the versions differ, the English version controls.
